Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised by an ethnically diverse family. Her mother is English while her father is Nigerian. She was born and raised in a council estate in the south of London. In the ages of 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She studied acting in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While attending the school and performing in numerous stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her career as an actor through the film Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making appearances as a guest for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her first role in a film was Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. The film's success resulted in her being cast as Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. She then appeared in the six-episode series Trexx & Flipside in the role of Ollie. Also, the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl was her first appearance in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe starred as the lead character for How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others. The comedy made in 2008. She also appeared as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009 with her dramatic The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before it was ended on The CW. In February, she was cast 2011 in the role of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe was in the episodes of the show's first two seasons as an regular. But in May 2013, the announcement was made that she would be departing the show following her guest appearance on the premiere episode of its third season. In the television series Salem, she played Tituba from 2014 until the year 2016. Then, in June of 2012 Madekwe married her long-time boyfriend, actor Iddo Goldberg. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also was a character on the TV series Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Her parents Roy and Patty along with the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's four brothers, all very physically active, were all playing hockey in the winter and baseball during the summers, meaning she basically grew up in baseball and arenas. Ashley was not a walker, but she was a dancer. In the age of two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley began to be a dancer after this. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions in jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe, until she finished high school. Ashley was awarded the top soloist award at every major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more, just to mention some.
